8th to 9th Grade Scheduling Information

Beginning the week of January 11th, the guidance staff will be visiting the 8th graders during their lunch periods to discuss the scheduling process and the transition to the high school. The HS staff working in conjunction with the OBMS guidance department created a presentation to help answer the multitude of questions frequently asked by both students and parents. The High School Course Guide contains all of the information necessary to plan your secondary educational program. It includes descriptions of all the courses offered at the High School and BOCES. Eighth grade students have the option to select electives from an extensive list of offerings. The "9th Grade Elective Selection Sheet" lists all of the elective courses available to 9th graders and can help provide focus while perusing the course descriptions.
